This past offseason I've been trying to learn more about athletic conditioning in order to become a better all-round football coach. Recently I was lucky enough to spend time with an athletic trainer from the Minnesota Twins. He provided some valuable insights on pregame routines for warm-up and injury prevention.
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is visit the St. Paul Farmers' Market. Almost every Saturday morning I get up, put on comfortable shoes, and head out the door for a morning of perusing row after row of fresh food and goods. Here are a few of the things I've learned about making the most of every outing.
